Be Thankful- You Still Can Get Started.

Oh, give thanks unto the Lord for He is good. Every day give thanks unto the Lord.

On this Marvelous Miraculous Manifestation Monday Praise God for His unfathomable love for YOU!!! Praise Him for daily loading you up with benefits.

Even if things are not what you want for now, shout for joy with Praise for our great God because you have a God that can work it out by working all things –good, bad, and ugly together for your good (Rom. 8:28-30), fix it, and bring you through.

He will never leave you, will help see you through and He listens and answers prayer. He inhabits the praises of his people. You are still here.

.

On this Marvelous Miraculous Manifestation Monday, praise God for His unfathomable love for you !

What is your expectation for this week, month, and year? Think Big, Do Big, and Think Victory! Praise Him for daily loading you up with benefits. Pray without ceasing.

Have the Courage to get started on achieving your dreams. It’s Monday, September 25, and you had the desire to achieve certain goals this year. But you have not done a thing.

Have you ever felt that surge of motivation on New Year’s Day, fervently scribbling down resolutions and promises to yourself? But as the months roll on, those pages remain untouched, gathering dust. Life happens, distractions arise, and those resolutions seem distant. If you’re nodding in agreement, you’re not alone. And if you’re chastising yourself for “wasting” so much of the year, stop right there.

Let’s have the courage “To Get Started”. Do not allow past failures, fear, and mistakes to stop you now. Pray and Seek God. Release Baggage.  Forgive Yourself. Forgive others. Don’t look back. Press forward.

On this Marvelous Monday let’s have the courage to carry out the things you know you desire to do and what God has put into your heart to do. Let’s start writing the vision and goals. Let’s take the action steps we need to grow closer to our goals. Let’s do self-care, exercising, and eating healthy.

So start doing what you need to do to make your dreams come true.  Let’s get it started -make the phone call, complete the application, or start the book.

.Remember done is better than perfect. I will write more about that later in another blog.

.Today, let’s celebrate the courage to BEGIN. It’s not about when you start but THAT you start.

Forgive Yourself

The first step in moving forward is to look back without judgment. Yes, you had plans, and they haven’t materialized yet. That’s okay. Every journey has its detours, but what matters is getting back on track.

Evaluate and be honest about what caused you to get off track. Don’t get stuck there. Learn from it. Forgive yourself.

Letting go of past disappointments will give you the mental space you need to refocus.

Smart Goals for Smart People

A goal is a target, the desired end of our efforts. Paul talks about pressing toward the mark in Philippians 3:14. Having a goal doesn’t always mean hitting the target —but it means getting closer than you would have if you hadn’t had a goal at all. Someone once said, “It is better to aim for a star and hit a mountain than to aim for a mud puddle and hit it every time”.

Rather than setting vague goals like “I want to be fit,” adopt the S.M.A.R.T approach:

Specific: Clearly define what you want. Instead of “being fit,” aim for “jogging three times a week.”

Measurable: How will you know you’ve achieved it? Maybe by clocking a certain distance or time.

Achievable: Set goals that challenge you but are feasible given your resources and constraints.

Relevant: Ensure they align with your broader life objectives.

Time-bound: Give yourself a deadline. “Jogging three times a week for the next two months” is a time-framed goal.

Five Pointers to Kickstart Your Journey

Re-evaluate and Prioritize: What are the most important goals for you right now? Maybe some goals are no longer relevant, and that’s okay. Choose the ones that resonate the most with your current situation.

Break It Down: Large goals can be overwhelming. Break them down into smaller tasks. Instead of “Write a book,” start with “Write 500 words daily.”Celebrate Small Wins: Each step you take toward your goal is an achievement. Did you jog today? Celebrate it. Wrote 500 words? Give yourself a pat on the back.

Accountability Buddy: Share your goals with a friend or family member who can encourage you and check in on your progress.

Set Aside Dedicated Time: Make your goals a part of your daily or weekly routine. If you’re aiming to read more, allocate 20 minutes before bed for reading.

It’s Not Too Late!

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now. It’s never too late to begin, to take that first step, to move closer to your dreams. Whether there are 4 months or 10 days left in the year, it’s enough time to make a change. After all, it’s the courage to begin that sets the path to achievement. So here’s to new beginnings.
